OSBC is a coalition of small business associations and serves as the
"Voice for Main Street" in the halls of the State Capitol.  With our united membership, OSBC represents approximately 40,000 Oregon
businesses. Oregon small business owners are struggling to stay
competitive and profitable while dealing with growing government
mandates, higher taxes, skyrocketing health care costs and quantum
increases in liability insurance premiums.
Faced with these growing challenges and lackluster job growth,
     OSBC’s mission is to protect and enhance Oregon’s small business
environment.  We oppose increasing the cost of creating and
maintaining jobs.  We oppose increasing taxes on businesses, including
new and increasing "fees" which are becoming more popular with local
government entities.  We support legislation that will enable
government services to be delivered more efficiently.  And, we support
legislation to control the meteoric rise of health care and general
liability insurance premiums.
